i'm using AT&T gsm now, ok la, better then before with MetroPCS ge, at least i can use it outside of bay area, but the reception isnt as good in Richmond or Sunset area

AT&T GSM is worse than AT&T TDMA.
I am using cingular. It was pretty bad before; but it's getting better & better now.
i think T-mobile, Cingular, & AT&T GSM are about the same la, since they share networks in many major coverage area.
So, it depends on which phone u like, not which carrier u prefer la.

of course la AT&T TDMA been around for lots of years la, of course bigger network la
AT&T dont share with T-mobile or Cingular ga

i think AT&T shares the network on some of the freeways with Cingular.

All of the wireless have their blind point, no one is perfect.
Just depend where u live and which network connection was built
next to your house, some ppl live in the no connection area.
No ones can help them!!! no cell connection, use home phone!!!
