he didnt prove anything yet, he only play against HS kids, and his outside shot isnt that good, so he needs to face some older people before i can say he is very very good. I think Carmelo Anthony is better now, at least he prove himself against NCAA level and WIN

i thnk Lebron would be just a soso players
cuz just as wat sora813 said......he hasn't proved anything
although he played pretty good in the summer league
but summer league is just for rookie or other under-leveled players...
so it doesnt mean anything..
moreover, i think he got too much pressure la
all ppl describe him as New Jordan...
but he's just a high school kid...
so i dun think he can play well under pressure

i mean, when a rookie first go into nba, u don't expect to see anything like Kobe, Tracy Mcgrady or any other superstars.. and i still think he's too young and he definitely needs alot more experience because the more people u play with, the more experience u will get....
just like yao ming, everyone was like "wooh, he's 7-5, he can dunk without jumping." but it turns out a disappoint for everyone.... yeah, he's tall but he's hella slow....look at shaq, he's slow but he's got power...u might say it's coz "he's black" but i am sure he put much more effort into practicing his bb skills than yao....and for LeBron, i don't expect him to be anything leader in the team for about a few years...and he might become the next MJ, who knows..

I don't agree that yao was a disappointment last year. He played pretty well, especially before the all star break.  He got tired toward the end of the year and that was when his production began to drop.  He has been playing basketball for slmost two years without any rest.  He was playing in the Chinese league, the World championship, Asian games, then straight into the NBA.  Not even superman could handle that.  He was actually one of the lead runners for rookie of the year.  When the rockets didn't  make the playoffs, his chances for the rookie of the year were lost and that was why amare stoudmaire won.  Yao is defintely worth the number one pick.  He is only going to get better if the Chinese gov't allows him to stay in the U.S. and play in top-notch competition and not in some stupid asian games.  The only reason that he won't improve is the Chinese gov't.  By the way, Yao is not hella slow.  He runs faster than Shaq.  Didn't you watch that LA v. Houston game on ESPN? Strength is something that can be acquired but not speed.
As for Lebron, it's too early to say anything about him.  Oncce the season starts and he plays against guys like Tracy and  AI, then we'll see what kind of player he really is.
