＊＃！＆＊日本串燒

The 日本串燒 that i mention in the setion of " Anyone like shabu shabu" i graded that A+ becasue their food is very very special...
They are actually the BBQsticks which has the combination of vegetables...
thin pork wrap asparagas, thin pork wrap with mushroom, beef tounge, chicken skin, chinken wings, quial eggs, chicken liver, chicken heart, chicken softbones, seafood sticks......etc...
the price of each BBQ sticks is between $1.75 to $2.50
other than the BBQ sticks, there's some side dishes... it taste pretty special too.
The setting of the restaurant is very special too... 好似日本街頭小販咁﹐

人哋好多人鍾意去 “ 燒鳥”but i think this one has more choices of food, cheaper, and taste better
Direction:  10W till it change to 101N.---  exit Alameda--- turn left on first light--- go straight--- 2nd st. turn right... pass the Japanese village, pass the San Pedro--- on your right there's is an underground parking... that's the plaza...
The restaurant is in the second floor...   right next to the elevator... having blue cloth hanging outside of the front door.

Gotta go try that next time when i go to LA...hehe...i remember that i always go to Little Tokyo to buy the fresh ice cream mochi from that little traditional Japanese sweet pastry place....

The Ice cream mochi  is sound great. Really want to try. :em07:

It's inside Little Tokyo in near Downtown LA, if you look on the map, they will have a section that saids Little Tokyo. Once you get there, there is only one small traditional sweet pastry shop so I don't think you can miss it. Maybe 邪花教教主  can give you more info since she's from LA...

i think what 貞子talked about is the place located in the japanese village... which located in the middle of the japanese town....
see the direction of going to the shabu shabu place or japanese BBQ sticks...
the japanese village is located between 1st and 2nd st,  and between alameda and San Pedro...
5S --- 10W---101N exit Alameda... on the first light, trun left.... when you see the 1st street, turn right,  then see the first light turn left... there is a big parking structure on your right right away.... park there..... then there is the japanese village... you walk around there you will see a traditional japanese food place ... that's the one i guess...  
PS:  in that japanese village, there's also a shabu shabu, it's very famous too but always a lot of people waiting for seat... and it's order one by one..
also, on the out bound of the japanese village in the 2nd st side, the first restaurant named 小政﹐it's a very good sushi place too... try try la

I don't quiet understand what you are asking about.  We were talking about Japanese town from the beginning till now.  plus, Japanese town is located in Downtown LA.  i mean sorry, i never remember the exact number of the stores... but by the direction i told you, i think you must be able to find it.  if you think getting an exact add will be more helpful, then you got to wait till next time i go there again so then i will be able to know what is the store number.  sorry.

because i am not living in LA ma~~
at least nxt time when I visit LA , I have a target to go
